Study Resources

CHS Language Arts Lab: The Language Arts Lab is located upstairs in Room 404 and is open from 7:15am to 3:15pm. Students can get help with reading, writing, or speaking assignments, make up tests, and utilize computers for research and word processing. Students may access the lab services for help with writing and editing essays, including support for writing essays required for college applications. Mrs. Schmieding, the Language Arts Tutor, is available all day for help, including during lunch, before and after school. CHS Math Center: The Math Center is located in room 504 and is open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Students can get help on homework, have concepts re-taught, take make-up tests, and make use of a variety of math resources. Mrs. Snodgrass, the CHS Math Tutor, is available all day and the high school math teachers take turns providing additional help after school. The library is open daily and students have access to computers and research materials during the following hours (library and textbooks must be checked out before 3:30pm)
Monday 7:15am – 5:00pm
Tuesday 7:15am – 5:00pm
Wednesday 8:15am – 5:00pm
Thursday 7:15am – 5:00pm
Friday 7:15am – 3:30pm

Overnight computer checkout: Students who would like to checkout a laptop computer with internet access can check one out at the technology desk located in the library daily between 12:00 and 3:00pm. Students can go to the technology desk to pick up a permission slip to bring home and have signed by the student and parent and returned before checkout.
